I've been thinking about the obligatory New Years Resolution blog post and how much I don't like New Years Resolutions. I rather approach the new year with a solution and a plan rather than with just a resolution or a goal. So I'm quickly bypassing the resolution and organizing a solution. This week between Christmas and the new year has been filled with new presents sitting in a pile on the floor, family obligations pulling me in different directions and lots of ideas flying through my mind of different possibilities for 2018. Feeling a little overwhelmed, I decided to get organized before the ball drops and the clocks strikes 12. This means house cleaning, closet organizing and getting my day planner set up. I went to Michaels to pick up some useful accessories at 60% off. This should help me get organized in a few different areas and hopefully run more efficiently in general. Staying consistent with my day planner will be the newest habit I'll be bringing into 2018. I'll be using my planner to organize:
